Now
we are back home - totally exhausted and full of emotions from the
great QPGA-tour in Roma. We saw five concerts in Roma - in the town,
where the dramatic love story is settled i the streets. It was
wunderful. Claudio has arranged his cult album from the year 1972
really in a perfect way and he did it wonderful...
The
concert begins with a instrumantal introduction of the song QPGA - the
cutain opens and Claudio comes in and greets the audience - schic in
white chemise, black waistcoat and a tailcoat. With his back to the
audience he conducts the introduction, puts off his tailcoat, sits at
the keyboard and plays together with his musicians teh refrain (instr.)
- wonderful arranged - from "QPGA".
At this moment there is gooseflesh-alert and a view tears can't hold
back... After that he reads a part of his self-written novel "QPGA" -
and the story begins....
He then starts with the song "In
viaggio" and then his whole cult-album - really fully new arranged -
his musical story is hightened from pictures from the movie "QPGA",
projected on a gigantic screen behind him. In the mean time he reads
more parts of his book.
The
story tells us how Giulia and Andrea meet the first time and fall in
love ("Una faccia pulita"), live some nice time together "Mia
libertà", "Che begle amici" "Con tutto
l'amore
che posso", the first time "La prima volta" and the fact, that tey
really love each other with the words in the movie like in the song
"Questo piccolo grande amore": He: "Ti amo - ti amo davvero", she:"ti
amo - ti amo lo giuro - he:"ti amo davvero...". When they
visit a
church, he proposes marriage her "Quel giorno",
"Io ti prendo come mia sposa".
Then he have to go to the military service and he drives away on a
train "Cartolina rosa", "Quanta strada da
fare".
Andrea and Guilia live a part for 15 month and in this time he knows
that he really loves her "Questo piccolo
grande amore". As Andrea returns home he goes to the
market Porta
Portese and he discovers Guilia with "another" ("Porta
Portese"). He is totally
beside himself
and is leaving the market and goes home. His mother welcomes him with
the words "Ciao
soldato" - but he ignores her and goes in his room. His
mother
asks him about the reason and he says : "cosa
fatto - io fatto niente..." - "what have i done - i did
nothing..." and he smashes the door - the words of the song "Io ti
voglio". The song describes that he wants her, that he hates her
because she is so beautiful.... At the end they talk together "Sembra
il primo giorno"
and they goes different ways.... Claudio ends the story with the
fantasic instrumental version of "Sembra il
primo giorno" - Andrea und Giulia look at each other for last time and
goes away...Grande
dramatica! ...and here the story ends.
"QPGA"
- a perfect musical show of his love story, with Claudios grandios
voice - simply genial - shown from Claudio with very much emotion and
passion! At the end of the story there is aneverending applause...the
audience stands up and they award Claudio for his grandios show.
Now
the second part begins - Claudio sits down at the piano and says:" qh
yes - i have written more songs..." - He sings a joice of his wellknown
songs of different years and each song there is in the background the
immagine album-cove. He starts with slow songs, like "Avrai", "Amore
bello", "E tu" and "Mille giorni di te e di me" -
followed by his "evergreens", like "Quante volte",
"Strada
facendo", "Io sono qui" and "Via"- That is the moment, when the whole
hall is a big party and the audience runs to the front of the stage to
stand 1 metre in front of Claudio and to screamm together his hits. We
had the luck to stand for five times direct in front of Claudio to show
him our emotions - it was absolutely faszinating to be there and to see
how Claudio gives all, with all his moves so well known from the past
centuries. He ends the concert with the song "La vita è
adesso".
Then he says good bye to his fans and he runs from the left to the
right of the stage and he shaked hands of his fans - danger of violent
pressure!
At
the last day we were spreading a little labeled german flag in front of
him of the stage. He saw this, looked at me, gave me both hands and
stroke my head - really exciting for me...Claudio knows his fans from
germany well...
After that he sings the end of the song "Tutti qui": "se anche fossimo
lontani noi saremo insieme sempre tutti qui..." - "and if we life a
long way apart, we are all here together...",
he goes to the middle of the stage and makes some typical movements to
animate his audience and then he waves tto the audience and is leaving
the stage. We see the QPGA-picture and the curtain is closing.
With the original song "QPGA" of the year 1972 the grandios
concert ends...
Thank you Claudio! You are great - a "big magician"... Grazie Claudio!

home
Now
the time has come - today Claudios "QPGA-Tour" starts in Roma -
Claudios home town. Here in this city the story of QPGA was born. I
write "here", because I'm in Roma - in this fantastic antic city full
of "treasures" - and being a part of his first concert this evening ...
Quotation Claudio:
"I
was twenty years old and i had decided to capitulate - i and the music
on different streets. A fever.... Ein Fieber des Redens
und des Tuns
machten eine Beherrschung unmöglich - and a handful
of songs,
which are telling a little story - the story of the first
big love.
That one, that changed my life. Forever. The songs and the story are
not interisting - that is enough, i thought - at this point i will
quit. Fu Toto Torquati, the pianist at this time tried to
convince
and said: If you will quit now, we will never know, how it would end.
He was right. The "big bang", that changed my life forever and it was
the bases for all the upcoming success. Without this CD all would be
different. and i won't b e here.
Without
Roma QPGA would be never made. The story was born here. In this streets
of Roma. Along this river. Mysical mirrored lighta nd the faszinating
palsation of their heart. Here are the leading characters born their
dreams, their thoughts, their emotions. The power and the fragile of
their passion.
QPGA a primavista, the double album , the book
and the movie will guide us - it's an attemp to attach the guiltiness,
that will never expire. How? The ruturn to the original project. The CD
of 1972 could have really been doubled - but i wasn't famous enough.
The record label decided to release that album with risc - the success
was so unexpected, so overwhelming.
It seemed that The song,
thats the title of the album will overshadow many thinks, quasi all the
rest. And the fact, that this album should tell a story drove into the
background. Not only the little dream of Guilia and Andrea, but also
the big dream of the whole generation of the 60'. QPGA-a primavista is
a trial to experience this all - the story of a dream. A dream, in that
- maybe for the last time - the whole world meet together to dream
together.
QPGA is not a usual concert, it is a pop-opera. A unic
story-line - with the original songs - completely new arranged with the
impressive force of the pictures - stolen from the QPGA movie - with
the influence of the plot of the QPGA book. a breathless way down along
the chute of passion, dedicated to a city, that never stoped to
inspire, shelter our love and to inspirit.
After
reading Claudios words i will see the concert in the evening eith
different eyes. I wiil be inspired and i will enjoy this fantasic love
story musically and to hear his gandios voice...

were able to met Claudio at 19/11/08 shortly before his drive to his
probe. It was incridible... - we have talked, taken photos and he had
signed our CLAB-passes.

13.11.08: Eindruck des 1. Konzerts
Claudio
Baglioni startete am 12.11.08 in Mailand seine
"außergewöhnliche" Tour QPGA. Um 21.00 Uhr wurden
die Lichter auf der Bühne des Allianz Theaters
eingeschaltet.
Claudio, gekleidet mit einer schwarzen Hose, weißem Hemd und
einer schwarzen Weste, trat auf die Bühne und
erfüllte sich
seinen langersehnten Traum - sein Kult-Album QPGA - Questo piccolo
grande amore - als Pop-Oper
aufzuführen. Er sang mit sehr viel Hingabe und Emotionen das
gesamte QPGA-Album, neu arrangiert und teilweise mit neuen Texten. Seine
fantastische Stimme wurde begleitet von seinen Musikern,
die schon bei der Tour Tutto qui 2006/07 gespielt haben:
Paolo Gianolio (Gitarre), John Giblin (Bass), Stefano Pisetta
(Schlagzeug), Pio Spiriti (Violine), Roberto Pagani (Klavier/Orgel).
Während des Konzerts wurden Bilder/Ausschnitte gezeigt aus dem
QPGA-Film, der im Februar 09 herauskommt.
Der zweite Teil des Konzerts bestand aus einer Auswahl seiner
erfolgreichsten Lieder - angefangen bei "Io sono qui" über
"Mille
giorni di te e di me", "Avrai" - mit Streichern und Klavier, bis hin zu
seinem gewohnten Medley - eine Zusammenfassung seiner alten Hits, wie
"Amore bello"oder "Solo". Er
beendete das Konzert mit "Strada facendo", "Via", "La vita è
adesso" und schließlich "Tutti qui". Um 23.30 Uhr
gingen die
Lichter im Allianz-Theater wieder aus - aber nicht in den Herzen der
Zuschauer, deren Applaus nicht endend widerhallte in den Mauern des
Theaters...
12.11.08: Tour-Start

ist der große Tag: Heute beginnt Claudios QPGA-Tour!
Claudio startet einen seiner "vier Motoren"...

nächsten Tour "QPGA" für die CLABBER nicht
möglich ist, an den Proben vor den Konzerten teilzunehmen, da
die Aufwendigkeit des Spektakels und damit die technische Problematik
es nicht zulässt!

Konzerte
in Mailand, Rom und Neapel:
Eine
Darstellung von außerordentlichen Leistungen in drei
großen
italienischen Städten. Eine Vorschau auf diese Form der
musikalischen
Erzählung auf einer Theaterbühne. Diese neue
Popoper, die Worte, Musik
und Bilder kombiniert in einer noch nie dagewesenen innovativen Art -
sie erzählt die Geschichte des Albums von 1972. Mehr als 2,5
Stunden
große Livemusik in einer großen Szenerie ohne
Unterbrechung mit der
Unterstützung der eindruckvollen Bilder eines Musikfilms -
eine Art
grandioser Musikclip - in der einige Sequenzen aus dem Film QPGA
montiert werden und auf einen riesigen Bildschirm "Ciclorama"
projiziert werden. Ein echtes Konzeptkonzert, das
anschließend
fortgesetzt wird von Claudio und seiner Band durch ein finales Fest mit
deren anderen Leidenschaften: Die größten Erfolge
des außerordentlichen
Repertoires des römischen Musikers. Ab 12. November im
Allianz-Theater
in Mailand, ab 26. November im Gran-Theater in Rom und ab 08. Dezember
im Palapartenope in Neapel.
