"When
the word is the language of the mind, the music is the language of the
soul. It comes from the soul. And goes to the soul. Without limits.
Without filters. Without interventions. Without compromises. Without
stops. A bridge, invisible and extraordinary, which cancel a distance
immediately. It doesn't matter which wall seperates us, the geography,
the time, the language, the culture, the belongings to different
generations. The music doesn't know any borders. Doesn't respect any
duty. Breaks through walls, climbs over hills, sails through the sea
and rivers, flies over deserts, plains, cities and it paints the black
and white of the present with the wonderful sound of a convincing
language, that everyone can understand and speak. Also if he doesn't
know it. Thanks to it, everyone is speaking to each other. In highest

thing that is able to remove all and sets you in sinfonie with the
world: The idea that in this moment there goes down the lights, you
hold the six-string-fellow and you give music back to the music it gave
to you, share it with all others and multiply the magic, because
nothing
is and will never be, like writing, playing and singing FOR THE WORLD."

The
DVD starts with this clip. Claudio tells some introducing words and
points out that we are one world (the refrain of Un solo mondo), he
shows were he was during the first part of the world tour - also
2-times in Germany! Look - i enthuse people also international and this
is new! There are many cameras, an impressive light-show and a great
sound in London. The temper of the concerts raises as at any concert
until the terrific final! Claudio had here - after a 40 years carreer -
a real challenge - that he needed - he did'nt sleep much the night
before. How will the people in England react? For the first time he
speaks to the audience in english. Will the technic work? Will the
special performances be ok that he added in some songs, including the
impressive organ of the Royal Albert Hall. The was only one attempt!
Yes
- everything was great! The DVD shows Claudio and his musicians, like
we saw him at the world-tour concerts - in Germany and Zurich in a
final test - we see very concentrated musicians, that Claudio raises up
in many sitiations, we see his enthusiasm and relief, as he recognizes
- yes it works also at London - finally he reaches what he sings for
centuries about - of the people in the world, of the world - that he
reaches now finally! Now his question is answered - yes - it works also
abroad - impressing!
We see a wonderful DVD - a gigantic, historic
concert hall, up-to-date technic, a collection of his greatest hits -
all in a wonderful new arrangement - Claudio between tension,
enthusiasm and triumph. He raised a monument. Wonderful, emotional,
rock-sound, inspiring!
Yes Claudio - you rocked the world - congratulation and "thank you very much indeed" also from us!

P.S.: Sorry if we are too embarrassing on DVD - but it was a great experience for us ;-)
P.P.S.:
Strange how things come together - after beeing in 1994 13-times in 3
weeks in the Royal Albert Hall for the Proms concerts we come back
there 16 years later for the triumph of our idol today. But there are
happening many strange things here.
